Despite lack of sleep during the trip to Bangkok all three students passed the initial round and will enter the finals at the end of August.
Three LILS students entered the national speech competition in Bangkok on July 21-22, arranged by the Thai Ministry of Education and Suan Dusit Rajabhat University. The task was to give a three minute speech in Thai about ASEAN - The Association of South East Asian Nations. The students chose different aspects of this association to focus on, such as cooperation, unity and peace, and wrote their own speeches with some help by the teachers.
