Thailand has changed the procedure for granting Non-Immigrant ED visa extensions to students. As before you will get 90 days stamped in your passport when you enter Thailand on a student visa. But when you extend your visa Krabi Immigration will only issue 90 day extensions up to a total of one year. This means that you will need to extend your visa every 90 days. If you would like to study another year you will have to leave Thailand and apply for a new student visa abroad.
