Students and staff have been practising their volleyball skills for weeks in order to prepare for Lanta International Language School's beach volleyball tournament 2012. Teams have been set up and volleyballs have been pumped. Finally the tournament day was here.
The weather was perfect with sunshine and a clear blue sky until about 3.30 pm. Then we could hear thunder and see dark clouds approaching. As we were scheduled to start the tournament at 4 pm everyone feared that we would have to postpone it due to heavy rain, but luckily the rain never got to Long Beach.
Everyone played very well but finally Team A turned out to be the winners. After a break for showers and some rest we met again for dinner and a prize ceremony.
