All Thai schools on Lanta participated and our student Sharon gave a speech in Thai about the importance of preserving our forests and how much we can learn from nature.
On August 23rd Lanta International Language School's advanced students joined the “800 million saplings for Her Majesty Queen Sirikit’s 80th birthday reforestation project”. This project aims to show gratitude to the Queen who has played an important role in reforestation and tree planting campaigns in Thailand, and raise environmental awareness in local communities around the country.
